    Agency Agreements
    Yes, you will sign a buyer representation agreement with your agent. This is standard in real estate and it makes things official. It is your assurance that your agent is legally working in your best interest throughout the entire process. The length of this agreement and its terms are not one size fits all. Every Bold Key agent has the flexibility to customize this with you based on your comfort level and needs.

    Commission and Compensation
    This is one of the biggest questions buyers ask: Do I have to pay my agent directly? In most cases the seller covers the buyer’s agent commission. However, sometimes sellers offer less than the traditional rate and sometimes negotiations get creative. The important part is this: Bold Key Realty does not set a required commission rate for our agents. Each agent has the freedom to discuss and agree on terms with their clients. That means if you have specific expectations or a scenario in mind it is a conversation to have directly with your chosen agent.
